Tips For Navigating 

When navigating this website keep in mind that many of the links open pages in new windows. This causes a redundancy in the windows that  open, but it makes it easier to research individual subjects simultaneously. 

You should be aware of your web browsers capabilities and close redundant windows if it starts slowing down or the links appear to not be working correctly. 

Old Billy Rodgers does not allow advertising pop-ups or ad ware on it's website. Some pop-up blocking software recognize links opening in new windows as pop-ups. You should feel confident in setting your pop-up preferences to "always allow pop-ups for old-billy-rodgers.com"

Most of the web pages use large fonts to make it easier for those of us with visual problems. The exception being on the bulletin board and the charts.

The charts are structured in a way that gives each of Old Billy's children their own web page. When available the charts for Old Billy's grandchildren will be posted directly below their parents' charts. If the information is available for the  great grandchildren's families, their charts will be on another page directly below their parents chart. In other words, each generation has its own web page and they overlap as you move from generation to generation.

If you're using AOL or other behemoth ISP's it may be easier to view this site independent of their default browser. This is done by copying this address http://old-billy-rodgers.com into the Internet Explorer browser. The procedure follows...

1. Copy the address above
2. Minimize the AOL browser (click on the minus sign in the upper right hand corner), Do not log off of AOL
3. Open Internet Explorer and paste the old-billy-rodgers.com address into the Internet Explorer address bar.

Another problem created by ISP's like AOL is their use of roving ip addresses. This may prevent your identity from being recognized on internet bulletin boards, if your idle for an extended period of time. This means that you're session may be interrupted and you might have to log on and submit your password a couple times while participating in discussions on the bulletin board. It's a good idea to check and make sure you're logged on to the board before posting a message.
